​ROUNDTABLE OF COMPANIES

The DEBRA International Roundtable of Companies (DIRC) is DEBRA International’s primary means of engaging and building long-term partnerships with companies that have an impact on the lives of people with EB.

 

The DIRC enables DEBRA International and corporate partners to increase understanding between patients and companies, and to address issues of mutual concern at a pre-competitive, strategic level. Given the need for many kinds of knowledge and expertise, DEBRA International seeks to engage the broad range of companies with products that can make a difference for persons with EB.

There are four levels of DIRC membership ranging from €10,000 to €50,000 per year. Corporate partners joining the DIRC sign a code of conduct, make an unrestricted annual financial contribution to support the mission of DEBRA International, and in turn benefit from the following:

• exchange of views with the EB patient community at the international level

• exchange of views with other companies on neutral ground

• participation in meetings on issues of common interest suggested by both patients and corporate partners

• insight into real patients’ needs and challenges globally

• open discussions to help to avoid overlap in parallel and similar initiatives

• acknowledgment on DEBRA International communication channels and in the annual report
