We are very proud to announce that Orphan Diseases of Ukraine, of which DEBRA Ukraine President Tetiana Zamorska is a Board Member, received the EURORDIS Black Pearl Award: United for Ukrainians Living with a Rare Disease.
Tetiana has played an important role during the war arranging vital donations of medication and humanitarian aid for patients with EB and other rare diseases in Ukraine, and for those who fled the war to other countries primarily within the EU. Unfortunately she was unable to collect her award personally but her colleagues, Tetiana Kulesha and Oksana Aleksandrova were more than honoured to attend on her behalf.
