MEET THE TEAM

Hanaa El Sadat lives in Cairo-Egypt. Mother of Yasmin who was born with RDEB in 1997 and passed away in 2012. In 2014, she established a charitable foundation under the name of “Yasmin El Samra Foundation" started with 20 EB cases, now she is reaching more than 250 EB cases referred to her through doctors.

She decided to help with her experience all EB patients as her daughter got the best education and was the youngest artist in Egypt. Yasmin did three solo drawing exhibitions and donated the money of selling her paintings to EB research hospitals in Egypt.

Yasmin El Samra Foundation supports and provides EB families with all medical supplies and pay all operational fees required. Her vision and mission are to spread awareness of EB to people through media, press, schools, universities to be able to support them. Also, to EB parents to prevent their children from reaching disability status.

Yasmin El Samra Foundation represents DEBRA Egypt as a member of DEBRA International group since 2020. She is a member of EBWB since 2020.
