The upcoming 5th Annual DEBRA Brasil Congress, scheduled to take place on October 4th and 5th, 2024, at Casa Melhoramentos in São Paulo.

Event Highlights:

- Venue: The congress will be hosted at Casa Melhoramentos, a historic and prestigious venue in São Paulo, providing an ideal setting for this significant gathering.

- Keynote Speaker: We are honored to have Dr. Peter Marinkovich, one of the world’s foremost researchers in Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), delivering a keynote address. His presence underscores the global importance of this event and offers attendees invaluable insights from the forefront of EB research and treatment.

- Program: The congress will feature a comprehensive agenda, including sessions on clinical practices, the latest research, patient care, and advocacy. Highlights include discussions on Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs), neonatal care, and innovative treatments.

- Workshops: In addition to the main sessions, attendees can participate in hands-on workshops covering essential topics such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and legal rights for EB patients.

- Petit Comité: On October 3rd, we will host a petit comité—a select gathering of experts for in-depth discussions on research initiatives, clinical trials, and future collaborations.

Past Success: Last year, our 4th Annual DEBRA Brasil Congress in Belo Horizonte, MG, attracted 167 in-person attendees and approximately 200 online participants. The strong turnout reflects the growing significance of this event within the EB community.
